Today’s Herald in Plymouth, UK, reports on new deal struck between the Plymouth Raiders, southwest England’s leading basketball team and Wrigley™ (Gum Guy’s official gum, but that may have had nothing to do with it).

Under the new one-year agreement, they will be renamed the Airwaves Plymouth Raiders, as reported in the article:

AMBITIOUS Plymouth Raiders have unveiled a new sponsorship deal with city-based chewing gum giants Wrigley’s.

The international company has inked a one-year deal with Raiders, worth an ‘undisclosed sum’.

Raiders will now be named Airwaves Plymouth Raiders, after one of the company’s most famous gum products.
