One of AndrewsGumWorld’s fave gum commercials so far (although we have yet to dip our toes into the world that is Juicy Fruit Ranch with its bunnies and their teeth made of gum) is the award-winning “Palace,” an Indian gum commercial which reminded us of great lush Bollywood films about days of yore (see, for example, “Lagaan” or “Devdas”).

Its climactic scene is pictured above (or you can click here to watch the commercial earlier in the vault of AndrewsGumWorld), and recently we found a great behind-the-scenes take on the making of the commercial. It helped us understand what happened when you looked for a perfect bridge for the perfect bicycle ride at the start of an award winning commercial (in the end, it turns out, you build it), and more.
