The mother ship | Chicago

Since I’ve spent the last 15 years passing out Wrigley’s gum, I’ve always kind of considered the wondrous Wrigley headquarters on Michigan Avenue in Chicago as the “mother ship” (upcoming Mars sale notwithstanding). This is a wonderful pen and ink, pencil and watercolor piece (titled “Michigan Avenue Bridge”) by Elizabeth Ockwell, that was featured in a 2004 show in the ArchiTech Gallery in Chicago called “Big City: A Chicago Album.”
